The passing of our life-long friend, Sonny Boteler, a few days ago, hit us all hard at Beltsville Shell.
Remembering Sonny
So Canon and I decided to dedicate a National Corvette Museum Brick in Sonny's memory.
The brick will be placed in the walkway outside the Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, leading to the entrance.
The brick lettering (they only allow 13 letters/spaces per line, 3 lines maximum) will read:
Sonny Boteler
Mr Beltsville
1966 Corvette
Cary & Canon, August 17, 2021

Hey Cary and family, thanks for the recognition for Sonny at the Corvette Museum. Sonny and really almost everyone are family members of 1965 HPHS, Beltsville, and everything related to living our lives in Beltsville and beyond. I am very grateful to have lived in Beltsville and known Sonny as a friend for all those years. Words cannot really express what everything was like growing up in Beltsville . Phil Marcus
Thank you Cary and Canon. A wonderful idea! I am sure Sonny will be happy. Nace
