8 Races down, 2 to go, Corvette still #1

I wish I could have been in Baltimore for ALMS race #8 this weekend but we had to go to USC for the season opener.  Corvette won the pole position with the fastest qualifying lap, but had to settle for P2 and P6 at the close.

Now on To Virginia, where we could clinch the Team, manufacturer, and driver championships!  A good season for Team Corvette!

Cary,

P.S. Thanks to all of you for boycotting Ferrari!

P.P.S. Vipers, the only other American manufacturer in the “American” Le Mans Series, are having a tough go of it.  Their #93 Car crashed at Road America and did not race in Baltimore.  The #91 car finished last.  The Aston Martin hasn’t been seen for many weeks, don’t know what’s up with that.
